Poet Gairang Pal Unveils New Poetry Collection to Rave Reviews

Raighar: A Saraswata Literary Ceremony was organized by the Sanatan Smruti Sahitya Sansad at Tapan Kalyan Mandap, where a book release and poetry reading session took place.

The first session, presided over by Dr. Dinabandhu Nandi, featured:

Chief guest: Ballav Raut, former member of the Odisha Sahitya Academy

Guest of honour: Preeti Snigdha Mahapatra, MP representative

Keynote speaker: Manorama Mahapatra, veteran poet

Special guest: Umesh Chandra Bhukta, retired educationist

Reviewer: Abhiram Lenka, satirical poet

During this session, Gairang Pal’s poetry book titled “Pheribaku Heba Dine” (The Day We Must Return) was officially unveiled.

The event featured:

Guest introduction and welcome address by Sagar Kumar Parida

Opening devotional music by Rabindra Bahinipati

Approximately 30 poets recited their own original compositions. The entire program was hosted and coordinated by Prof. Parikhita Sahu and Dhananjay Mall.
