Umarkote,Jan, 07: The PM SHRI Festival was organized at the Government Higher Secondary School, Kurshi, located in Umarkote Block. The event was held under the chairmanship of the Headmaster, Sandhar Majhi.

The festival was attended as chief guest by the local Block Education Officer, Ishwar Chandra Majhi. Among the distinguished guests were Ashok Kumar Padhi,

epresentative of the School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond; Ram Krishna Nayak, representative of Nabarangpur Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi; Naresh Chandra Pattnaik, Headmaster of Bakoda Upgraded High School; and Debendra Bag, Additional Block Education Officer, who attended as the key speaker.

Other dignitaries present on the dais included Bharat Gond, President of the School Management Committee; Pradeep Goud, member of the Panchayat Samiti; Bansing Gond, former Samiti member; Bhojanath Gond, former Zilla Parishad member; Ishwar Swain, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator; Dhanurjay Rao; Baishnab Charan Sethi; and Chauban Sahu, among others.

All the guests highly appreciated the initiatives and activities organized during the festival. Students showcased various projects, and some girl students prepared and sold shop items as part of entrepreneurial activities.

In the end, a vote of thanks was delivered by the Headmaster Sandhar Majhi, and the program was conducted by CRCC Motiram Nayak.
