PM Modi Returns from Mauritius After Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Delhi  On the second day of his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 57th National Day celebrations of Mauritius as the chief guest. He was honored with a guard of honor in a joint parade, with a salute and an aerial tribute.

An agreement was signed for the construction of the Mauritius Parliament building. On this occasion, the Prime Ministers of both countries decided to recognize India-Mauritius cooperation as an “enhanced strategic partnership.” India will assist in building the new Parliament House in Mauritius, which Prime Minister Modi described as a gift from the “Mother of Democracy” (India) to Mauritius.

Prime Minister Modi also extended his best wishes to the people of Mauritius on their 57th National Day on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians.
