New Delhi: Dr. P.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, conducted a high-level review and evaluation of major infrastructure projects today in Ratan Dholera and Lethal in Gujarat. These projects are aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for industrial and economic development.
Dr. Mishra inspected the under-construction Ahmedabad–Dholera Greenfield Expressway, being implemented by NHAI (National Highways Authority of India). He also reviewed the progress of the upcoming Dholera International Airport in the Dholera Special Investment Region.
In addition, Dr. Mishra inspected the semiconductor fabrication project of Tata Electronics, including its production facilities for mobile components, consumer electronics, and automobile applications, particularly for chip manufacturing.
He further visited various social infrastructure projects developed by Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL), including schools, hospitals, and residential complexes.
Dr. Mishra chaired a review meeting with senior officials from DICDL, DISCL, NHAI, AAI (Airports Authority of India), and Indian Railways. He also visited the National Maritime Heritage Complex, reviewed plantation and water management systems, and assessed environmental sustainability initiatives.
He inspected the construction work of Phase IA, which includes six galleries, and directed that the project be completed by August this year.
Dr. Mishra was accompanied by Tarun Kapoor, Advisor to the Prime Minister, PMO Deputy Secretary Mangesh Ghildiyal, and other senior officials.
