Bhubaneswar, 24th July 2025: A five-day training camp for Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs) appointed in private aided higher secondary schools under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education was successfully concluded.
At the closing ceremony, Director of Higher Secondary Education Raghuram R. Iyer, retired educationist Prof. Dr. Bimal Charan Swaain, Joint Directors Sasmita Mali and Snigdha Mishra, Deputy Directors C.H. Bijayalaxmi and Dr. Jyoti Prakash Rath were present.
A total of 125 PGT teachers participated in the training, which laid special emphasis on their personal and professional development.
Director Mr. Iyer remarked that this five-day program marks the beginning of their journey as educators. He expressed hope that once they return to their schools, these teachers will contribute to character building of students and act as agents of positive change in society.
The event was coordinated by PGT teacher Sunulata Ghadai, while PGT teacher Dibyasingh Mahakud delivered the vote of thanks.
