Bhubaneswar, 230th Aug 2025: Tata Power and the Odisha Government’s joint venture, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), has announced comprehensive preventive measures to ensure a reliable and safe electricity supply during the upcoming festival season.
Reinforcing its commitment to public safety, TPCODL has issued guidelines advising program organizers and vendors to use legal temporary electrical connections for pandals and stalls. They have cautioned against using illegal connections, which can pose serious risks to life, increase the chances of fire incidents, and lead to severe electrical hazards.
To monitor electricity supply, provide temporary legal connections, and prevent unauthorized usage, TPCODL has deployed dedicated teams to conduct on-ground inspections during the festival period.
TPCODL CEO, Mr. Arvind Singh, emphasized the importance of these measures to safeguard both public safety and uninterrupted electricity supply.
