Bhubaneswar, Jan, 10: Annual examinations will now be conducted for Class 5 and Class 8, and the pass–fail system has been reinstated for these classes. For students of Classes 1 to 4 and Classes 6 and 7, evaluation will be done through summative assessment.
The annual examinations will begin in the first week of March. The results will be declared in the second week of March.
From March 16 to April 15, remedial programmes will be conducted. During this period, students who have failed or secured low marks in the examinations will receive subject-wise remedial teaching, which will be conducted by the respective subject teachers.
A supplementary examination will be held in the third week of April, and the results will be published in the fourth week of April.
In this regard, the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has issued a letter to all District Education Officers. According to the letter, question papers will reach schools on March 2.
