Nandapur, 19th Nov 2025: A programme for distribution of homestead land pattas under the Basundhara Scheme of the Revenue Department of the Government of Odisha was held on Friday at the premises of the Padua Revenue Inspector’s office under the Nandapur Tahasil of Koraput district.
Tahasiladar Debendra Kumar Maharana, Additional Tahasildar Madhab Pangi, and Supervisor Somanath Muduli were present on the occasion.
Under the Padua revenue circle and Galganda revenue village, 57 beneficiaries were provided homestead land pattas. Out of these, 42 beneficiaries from Sirisaguda and 15 beneficiaries from Darliput village received the pattas.
Tahasiladar Maharana explained to the beneficiaries the features and importance of the homestead pattas. He informed them that the land mentioned in the patta cannot be sold, and the document is essential for obtaining caste and residential certificates for the patta holders and their heirs.
Revenue Inspectors Brahmananda Sethi, Rina Pujhari, and Nandita Nayak successfully conducted the programme for the villages of Sirisaguda and Darliput.
