Jeypore: Today, a Panchayat-level complaint hearing and awareness camp was conducted at Ambaguda Panchayat under Jayapur block in Koraput district. The hearing was chaired by Monoj Nayak, Additional Group Development Officer of Jayapur block. Other officials present included Panchayat Secretary Deepti Hikka, APO Santoshi Mahapatra, Block Cooperative Supervisor Vijay Kumar Nanda, BSSO Nisha, Panchayat Executive Ahari Jani, among others.
Local villagers from the Panchayat actively participated in the event and presented various complaints and issues to the officials. Discussions were held on several problems including new roads, road repairs, streetlights, drainage, and drinking water supply. The officials present explained how different government schemes could benefit the community. Alongside, various basic problems were also heard.
Additionally, a health camp was organized by the Ravanguda group health center during the event.
