Nabarangpur, Dec, 22: A total of 400 stalls have been set up at the Pallishree Fair, including SHG stalls, commercial stalls, departmental stalls, and food stalls. The fair features attractive and valuable products from Nabarangpur, such as maize pitha, maize laddus, and various types of ragi laddus.
Handicraft stalls showcasing terracotta items, paddy crafts, and tribal ornaments are drawing strong interest from visitors. Similarly, more than 10 artisans are displaying beautiful Kashmiri shawls, Kotpad handloom fabrics, and Sambalpuri sarees, which are attracting a large number of customers.
Bamboo chicken from Mayurbhanj and mushroom pakoda from Nabarangpur are well known as delicious food items. Traditional food items prepared by SHGs are also very appealing to visitors. On 12 December, the total sales amounted to ₹1.87 crore.
