Pakhala Celebrated as the Pride of Odia Culture

Kotpad, April 02:   World Pakhala Day was celebrated at the premises of Siddhartha English Medium School in Kotpad under the initiative of Sambad Sahitya Ghar.
Speakers described the celebration of Pakhala Day by Sambad Sahitya Ghar and Ama Odisha as a historic and significant step. Sambad President Saumya Ranjan Patnaik stated that it is an innovative effort towards preserving Odia identity and culture.
The programme was organized under the coordination of Pankaj Kumar Patra. Among those present were Sambad Sahitya Ghar President Ganesh Panda, Siddhartha School Managing Committee President Jitendra Nath Mohapatra, Vice President Pradeep Bakshi, School Principal Basanta Behera, Manager Anita Pani, Vice Principal Rashmi Nayak, Bharati Choudhury, Shankar Mohanty, Bijay Mishra, Ajay Mishra, Jamuna Nayak, along with members of Sahitya Ghar, teachers, and staff, all of whom actively participated in the celebration.
