Cuttack: 21st July 2025:The special OTET (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test) scheduled for 20/07 for in-service teachers has been cancelled. The exam, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), has been scrapped following the leak of Paper-1 and Paper-2 handwritten question papers on social media platforms.
Handwritten Question Papers Circulating on Social Media
The handwritten question papers of both papers, along with their answers in both Odia and English, have been widely circulated from one mobile phone to another. The majority of the questions and answers from both papers are now being seen circulating on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social media platforms. It has been confirmed that the viral question papers are indeed genuine.
As a result, the exam was cancelled tonight, just ahead of its scheduled date, leaving around 75,000 in-service teachers who were set to appear for the test disappointed and frustrated.
