Cuttack, Nov 25: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) authorities have extended the application deadline for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) till the 27th of this month. The application process, which began on the 12th, was earlier scheduled to end tomorrow, the 25th of this month. Keeping the convenience of the applicants in mind, the deadline has been extended by two more days.
With the extension of the application date, the number of OTET applicants is expected to cross one lakh. Along with general candidates, in-service teachers have also been given the opportunity to apply.
The examination will be conducted on December 17 in two sessions on the same day.
Paper-I: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Paper-II: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
The exam carries 150 marks. To qualify:
General category candidates must score 90 marks
SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates must score 75 marks
