Baripada A memorandum has been submitted to District Education Officer (DEO) Mr. Purnachandra Sethi by the Odisha Secondary School Teachers’ Association (OSSTA). The DEO held discussions with the teacher association regarding various demands raised by them.
During the discussion, Additional DEO Gautam Patra, Section Officer Sudipta Kumar Mallik, senior and junior assistants from the office were also present. There was a detailed discussion on the previously submitted demands, and the DEO assured that the issues would be resolved at the earliest.
The association warned that if the problems are not addressed as per the assurance, they will adopt a protest approach. Present at the meeting were the State Vice President, presidents and secretaries of two OSTA units from Mayurbhanj district, working presidents, vice presidents, joint secretaries, district executive members, block presidents and secretaries, along with prominent teachers and education staff.
