Koraput, 11th Nov 2025:  At a recent district-level preparatory meeting, it was decided that the grand inauguration of the Koraput District Tribal Folk Festival 2025 would be held at the Shaiva shrine in Kutunipadar village under Laxmipur block.

In view of this, today, the Koraput District Collector, Manoj Satyaban Mahajan, along with several administrative officials, visited Kutunipadar village to review all preparations on the ground. The temple, known for its thousand Shiva Lingas, has been drawing public attention lately, with locals eagerly awaiting the auspicious beginning of the festival.

The administration has directed that the temple and its surroundings be beautified, the pathway leading to the shrine widened, and decorative lighting installed. Instructions have also been given to repair approach roads, set up parking facilities at a suitable distance, and ensure drinking water and sanitation arrangements near the temple.

The local block administration has been asked to relocate temporary vendors and repair the main road in front of the shrine. On the day of the inauguration, a one-way traffic system will be implemented, and the main stage for the event will be erected near the temple premises.
