Malkangiri, Jan 27: The election of office bearers of the Retired Government Employees’ Association at the district headquarters of Malkangiri has been completed.
K. Venkataramana served as the Election Officer, while Prakash Chandra Pattnaik and Dinabandhu Jena were present as observers. As there were no contesting candidates, the office bearers were elected unopposed.
Bala Raju Padhi was elected as President, Surendra Kumar Mallik as Vice-President, Ashok Kumar Samal as Secretary, Huladu Kishore Panda as Joint Secretary, Jeevan Kumar Mohanty as Organising Secretary, and Jayadev Raoul as Treasurer.
The Advisory Committee includes Shivaprasad Patra, Balakrishna Padhi, and Rabindra Kumar Maharana. The Executive Committee members elected are Jagannath Tiadi, Benu Pani Khadanga, Chiranjibi Mahapatra, Gauratandra Pujari, Giridhari Panigrahi, Naba Kumar Sahu, S. Viraswamy, Abhimanyu Behera, Narasingha Pathi, Purna Chandra Sahu (Kh), Ganesh Chandra Jena, and Srinivas Panda.
More than 60 members were present at the meeting. In the end, Mr. Raoul extended a vote of thanks to all the members.
