Byasanagar, 4th Aug 2025: The Odisha Power Employees’ Federation (OPEF), Jajpur Branch submitted a 10-point charter of demands to the local TPNODL Electrical Subdivision Officer on behalf of employees. The memorandum was presented under the leadership of OPEF Jajpur Branch Circle Secretary Biplab Keshari Samanta.
Key demands included:
- 1. Filling up vacant posts in PSSMCs and Anubhav Kendras.
- 2. No forced overtime for employees working in PSS.
- 3. Construction of toilets for female staff at Anubhav Kendras.
- 4. Provision of office stationery for smooth functioning.
- 5. Vehicles for safety of outsourced staff working in AMCs.
- 6. Timely payment of minimum wages to all active outsourced workers.
