New Delhi: In New Delhi, Krushnachandra Patra, Odisha’s Minister for Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Science and Technology, met with Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Prahlad Joshi.
During the meeting, Minister Patra discussed several key issues concerning the state, including:
Raising the paddy procurement target for Odisha,
Expediting the lifting of rice by the Food Corporation of India (FCI),
Prompt release of funds for paddy procurement, and
Various other important matters related to Odisha’s interests.
The discussions aimed to ensure better support and coordination from the central government in the food and public distribution sector.
