Malkangiri, Dec, 04:  The annual festival of the Odisha Matrushakti Progress Foundation was celebrated in grand style at Sanskriti Bhavan in the Malkangiri district headquarters. The event was attended by Malkangiri MLA Narsingh Madkami, Chitrakonda MLA Yak Mangoo Khol, Malkangiri Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tangulu, Malkangiri Block Vice President Niranjan Haldar, editors, Odisha Sahitya Akademi member Randhakar Das, and the foundation’s director and founder, Vidyadhar Nayak.

On the occasion of the foundation’s one-year completion, the program began with the national anthem, followed by the launch of a beautiful and meaningful song dedicated to the district of Malkangiri and the foundation’s work.

Officials and participants from all seven blocks of Malkangiri district—including block area managers, film officers, district agents, and other personnel—attended, with a total participation of over 700 women and men.

During the program, the foundation’s director and management described the organization’s goals and objectives. They stated that the main aim of the foundation is to empower women across Odisha, making them self-reliant and confident.

In the coming days, the foundation plans to prioritize women’s education, self-employment, environmental protection, social service, skill training, organic farming, and healthcare.

On the occasion of the foundation’s one-year completion, projects for all blocks of Malkangiri district were inaugurated by the distinguished guests. The foundation’s director and founder, Vidyadhar Nayak, announced that in the near future, projects would be initiated at the level of all gram panchayats across the district.
