Odisha Govt Implements Major Reshuffle Among Senior IFS Officers

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has implemented significant transfers among senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers, as detailed in a notification from the Department of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change:

Uma Nanduri (IFS, 1993 batch) has been appointed as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Kendu Leaf upon her return from the Government of India.

Prem Kumar Jha (IFS, 1993 batch) has been designated as PCCF Wildlife and Chief Wildlife Warden. Additionally, he will serve as the Managing Director of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC).

K. Murugesan (IFS, 1994 batch) has been assigned as Additional PCCF (Nodal), a position he previously held with additional responsibilities.

G. Rajesh (IFS, 2001 batch) has been appointed as Director of Environment and ex-officio Special Secretary of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change.

Manoj V. Nair (IFS, 2001 batch) takes on the role of Director of Nandankanan Zoological Park and will also serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA). He previously held the position of Additional PCCF Wildlife.

V. Yogajayanand (IFS, 2005 batch) has been appointed as Regional Chief Conservator of Forests (RCCF) Bhubaneswar and will also serve as the Chief Executive of the Chilika Development Authority (CDA).

Sanjay Kumar Swain (IFS, 2009 batch) assumes the role of RCCF Angul.

Sudhansu Sekhar Khora (IFS, 2009 batch) has been appointed as Member Secretary of the Odisha State Pollution Control Board.

P. Arthanari (IFS, 2011 batch) takes on the position of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Kendu Leaf in Cuttack and will also have additional responsibilities at OFDC Bhubaneswar.

Vishwanath Neelannavar (IFS, 2011 batch) has been designated as RCCF Berhampur.

Anurag Mishra (IFS, 2020 batch) assumes the role of DFO Kandhamal (KL) in Phulbani.

K. Nagaraju (IFS, 2022 batch) has been appointed as DFO Paralakhemundi.

Rashmi Jena (IFS, 2022 batch) takes on the position of DFO Titlagarh (KL) Division.

Ramesh Kumar (IFS, 2022 batch) has been designated as DFO Kalahandi (North) Division.

Elavarasan K. (IFS, 2022 batch) assumes the role of DFO Rairakhol Division.
