Nabarangpur, Jan, 10:The Papadahandi branch of the Odisha Drivers’ Association has provided financial assistance to the family of a deceased driver.

According to reports, Tulasi Bhattara (38), a resident of Bariguda village under Jatabal Panchayat in Papadahandi block of Nabarangpur district, had been working as a driver for the past 20 years to support his family. However, due to some reason, he passed away on the 20th of this month. After his death, the family was left devastated. His wife, Sanju Harijan, along with their two sons, have been deeply affected by Tulasi’s demise.
During the family’s mourning ceremony (Dashakriya), the president of the Odisha Drivers’ Association Papadahandi branch, Damburudhar Yani, vice-president Subaj Kumar Shagaria, editor Sheetum Ranjan Benia, secretary Devi Kuldeep, and other members visited Tulasi’s home to offer condolences. They also provided financial assistance of ₹10,000 to support the bereaved family.
