Brahmapur: The 5th Executive Meeting of the Ganjam District branch of the Odisha Digital Media Association was held today at the local Brahmapur Circuit House, under the chairmanship of Krushnachandra Pal.
The meeting was graced by senior advocate Pitabas Panda as the chief guest, with Gadi Rath, editor of Naveen, Gaurishankar Satapathy, Deputy Information Officer of Bhanjanagar, senior journalist Jyotiranjan Dash, journalist Sudip Kumar Sahu, Zilla Parishad Vice President Sushree Gajeshwari Dora, retired employee Raje Sahu, and Nrusinhananda Padhi as the honoured guests on the dais.
Discussions were held on organizing the state-level meeting of the association in Ganjam district. Other key points discussed included:
Providing insurance coverage to all members
Increasing the number of members
Strengthening the functioning of the association in the coming days
Chief guest Mr. Panda emphasized the importance of delivering truthful and impartial journalism. The guests and advisors present on stage were felicitated with flower bouquets by the president.
Many journalists attended the meeting, including Sitakanta Patra, Krushna Sahu, Sukanta Kumar Dash, Sanjaya Kumar Dash, Hrushikesh Panda, Rakesh Sahu, Ma’ Manasa Ranjan Pathak, Dalkrushna Sahu, Suresh Dehera, Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Jagannath Panda, Surajit Kumar Raul, Kailash Chandra Swain, Shankar Sahu, and Pramod Kumar Sahu, among others.
Ranjan Kumar Sahu coordinated the event, while Sanjaya Kumar Dash gave the vote of thanks.
