Odisha Cricket Coach to Lead Coaching Camp at Nabarangpur Stadium

Nabarangpur: A three-day cricket coaching camp will be organized at the Nabarangpur Stadium under the auspices of the Odisha Cricket Association for the cricketers of Nabarangpur district, informed Prahlad Tripathy, Secretary of the District Cricket Association. Senior and former players have expressed their joy and pride over this initiative.

The coaching camp will be led by Odisha Cricket Academy’s Technical Director, Mr. V. Venkataraman, along with coaches Saurabh Sehgal, Pritamjit Das, and manager Abhilash Harichandan. The camp will be held at the Nabarangpur Stadium from March 27 to March 29.

This skill development training camp is open to young cricketers under 16 from across the district. The District Cricket Association has urged aspiring players to participate in large numbers. No registration is required to join the camp. Accommodation arrangements have been made for the players, and considering the summer heat, training sessions will be held in two slots:

Morning: 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM

Afternoon: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The camp will be attended and supported by several key officials, including:

Ajita Das, from the Women’s Cricket Team

This initiative is expected to significantly benefit young cricketers in the district.
