Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Highways Authority Bill has been passed in the Legislative Assembly. A total of 75,000 km of world-class roads will be constructed. A new authority named OSHA (Odisha State Highways Authority) will be formed to manage the state highways in Odisha. This authority will also handle land acquisition, rehabilitation, environmental clearances, and forest clearances. To ease traffic congestion, the authority will also undertake the construction of approach roads.
