Nabarangpur: 30th Oct 2025, At the Koshagumuda Panchayat Samiti Hall, a public hearing camp was held under the joint chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and Superintendent of Police Sandeep Sampati.
The camp was attended by key officials including Chief Development Officer (Women), Executive Officer (Women) of the Zilla Parishad Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra, BDOs, Tahsildars of Koshagumuda, and other district-level departmental officers.
The event began with the oath-taking ceremony under the chairmanship of the District Collector to mark the Anti-Corruption Awareness Week 2025, where all participating officials pledged to uphold integrity and honesty.
During the public hearing camp, a total of 49 applicants submitted their grievance petitions. Among these, 27 were individual complaints, and 22 were village-level or collective issues. Out of these, 2 issues were resolved immediately.
Additionally, under social welfare initiatives, the Department of Social Security distributed assistive devices to persons with disabilities, including 4 wheelchairs, 3 tricycles, and 1 walking stick (Kahuni Baishakhi).
