Nabarangpur:10th Nov 2025:  A joint public hearing camp was organized at the Kosagumuda Panchayat Samiti Conference Hall under the joint chairmanship of District Collector S. Maheshwar Sain and Superintendent of Police Madkar Sandeep Sampat.

Attending the camp were District Development Officer and Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Biranchi Narayan Darawan, Deputy Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra, BDO, Tahasildar of Kosagumuda, and various district-level officers from different departments.

At the beginning of the program, as part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, all officers present took an integrity pledge under the leadership of the District Collector, committing themselves to honesty and transparency in public service.

During the public hearing, a total of 49 applicants submitted their grievance petitions. Out of these, 27 were individual complaints, while 22 were related to village and community-level issues. Two grievances were resolved on the spot during the hearing.

Additionally, as part of the social welfare initiative, four wheelchairs, one tricycle, one elbow crutch, and three walking sticks (tripod canes) were distributed to persons with disabilities by the Social Security Department.
