Kotpad 9th January 2025 Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, also known as NRI Day, is celebrated annually on January 9 by the Government of India. This date marks the return of Mahatma Gandhi to India from South Africa on January 9, 1915. The celebration of this day began in 2003, and the idea of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas was proposed by Shri Lakshmi Mall Singhvi.
