Notary Association of Nabarangpur Holds Inaugural Meeting; Dillip Elected President

Nabarangpur: The Central and State Governments have appointed all the notaries in the district to form a district-level association. The first meeting of this association was held at Tripti Lodge Auditorium under the chairmanship of the district’s first notary lawyer, Dillip Behera. Members from all areas of the district participated in the meeting and presented their views on various problems and how to address them through the association.

Representatives from all parts of the district were considered during the selection of office bearers. Dillip Behera was elected as President and Ramprasad Patra was chosen as Editor. Similarly, Shantanu Bahinipati from Umarakot, Divyaranjan Patra from Dabugaon, Khalid Jilani from Umarakot, Ashok Padhi from Umarakot, Anupama Gantayat from Nabarangpur, Rabindra Jagannath from Tentulikhundi were selected as Joint Editors.

Santosh Mishra was appointed as Treasurer, and Subaschandra Pal from Nabarangpur and Rajendra Sahu from Rayagada were unanimously selected as Executive Members. Godabarichandra Mahapatra, Umashankar Tripathy, Swadhin Pattnayak from Papadahandi, K. Chandrasekhar from Nabarangpur, Jhadeshwar Mahanti and Tapan Debnath from Umarakot, and Kunjbihari Dash from Kosagumuda were also appointed as important office bearers.

Santosh Mishra managed the stage during the meeting, and Samaresh Gantayat gave the vote of thanks. Among others, Saroj Bidhar, Manas Tripathy, Manohar Mahanti, Kaliprasad Nanda, Mohammad Hussain, Krishnachandra Nanda, Purushottam Samant, Jayant Patra, Dillip Bishoyi, Meenakshi Padhi, Santosh Nayak, Yashobanta Nayak, and Mihirshankar Patra also participated in the event.
