No More New Sub-Treasuries to Be Opened, Government Decides

Bhubaneswar,  March, 11:  No new sub-treasuries will be opened in the state.
The Law Minister presented the reply on behalf of the Chief Minister in the Assembly.
“All treasury-related work is now being carried out through online mode.”
“From pensions to challans and bill payments, everything is being processed online.”
“Since all work is being done through e-vouchers, there is no need to open new sub-treasuries.”
At present, there are 169 treasuries in the state, informed the Law Minister.
