Umarkote: The Nipun Odisha Mela was organized to showcase educational materials at the premises of Chadeiguda Upgraded High School with the support of the Office of the Umarkote Cluster Education Officer and Bhaluguda Cluster. The event was presided over by EBEO Purushottam Majhi, while Motiram Gond (CRCC) managed the proceedings.

The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Alok Anugulia, the Executive Officer of Umarkote Municipality, who attended as the Chief Guest. Radha Bhatra (Municipal Chairperson) was the Keynote Speaker, while Sushila Majhi (Panchayat Samiti Chairperson), Arjun Bhatra (Anchal Sarpanch), Jagadish Gand (Jamurunda Sarpanch), Prafulla Raut (Headmaster), and Ajay Chhotaray (CRCC, Bhaluguda) were present as Distinguished Guests.

The Nipun Odisha Mela focused on foundational literacy and numeracy programs, involving participation from teachers, students, and parents from various schools across 20 clusters under Umarkote Block. Educational tools and techniques that help students in grades 1, 2, and 3 learn their mother tongue and mathematics easily were exhibited.

The headmaster of Chadeiguda Upgraded High School, Prafulla Kumar Raut, led the program along with CRCCs from different clusters. A prize distribution ceremony was also held during the event, with awards presented to schools and students for their outstanding performances. The event concluded with discussions on enhancing the quality of primary education under the Nipun Odisha initiative.
