Brahmapur, 7th Oct 2025: The Ganjam district Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organized a felicitation ceremony and press conference at the party’s district office located in Gajapati Nagar.
On this occasion, all the newly appointed members of various committees — including the Ganjam District Social Media Coordinator, IT Coordinator, Steering Committee, and Executive Committee — who were recently nominated by BJD President and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, were formally felicitated.
In addition to the felicitation, the event also addressed key issues affecting the district:
Exposure of the ongoing black marketing of fertilizers in Ganjam
A call for a proper investigation and adequate ex-gratia compensation for the tragic and untimely deaths of three individuals in the Bahuda River in Patrapur block
These demands were put forth during the press conference by Bikram Kumar Panda, former Brahmapur MLA and current Ganjam District BJD President.
