New Officer Takes Charge at Kalimela Police Station to Strengthen Law Enforcement

Malkangiri: Mukunda Melka has taken charge as the new officer-in-charge (OIC) of Kalimela police station. Previously, he served as the OIC of Chitrakonda police station. He has been appointed to replace Chandrakant Tandi, the former OIC of Kalimela police station. Meanwhile, Chandrakant Tandi has taken charge as the new OIC of MVI 79 police station.

At both police stations, the sub-inspectors (SIs), assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs), constables, home guards, and all other staff warmly welcomed and congratulated the new officers. Both officers have prior experience working in these areas and are known for their public service. They have maintained peace and order in their jurisdictions and have notably contributed to reducing the influence of the ganja mafia in the region.
