Nandapur, Jan 29: Trinath Totapadia joined as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Nandapur Police Station in Koraput district on Wednesday.
He joined the police department in 2019 and has previously served at Chandrapur and Gudari police stations in Rayagada district. Two months ago, he was transferred to the Koraput District Police Headquarters.
The new Officer-in-Charge stated that with the experience he has gathered in various fields, along with guidance from senior departmental officers and cooperation from local intellectuals, he will strive to strengthen the law and order situation in the Nandapur police station area.
After assuming charge, he held discussions with other police officials and local reporters regarding the jurisdiction and related matters of the police station.
It is noteworthy that the former Officer-in-Charge of Nandapur Police Station, Mamata Kumari Panda, has been transferred to Narayanpatna Police Station.
