Nayagarh:Jan, 10:  Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Ms. Madhumita Rath today assumed charge as the new District Collector of Nayagarh. Soon after taking over, she clearly outlined her approach to making the district administration more people-centric.

🗓️ Public Grievance Hearing on the First Day

On her very first day in office, Collector Ms. Rath presided over a joint public grievance hearing organized at the district office परिसर. She personally listened to the problems of hundreds of complainants who had come from different parts of the district.
Key Highlights of the Hearing:
Immediate Resolution: She directed the concerned departmental officials to take immediate steps to resolve many of the complaints on the spot.
Inter-departmental Coordination: She emphasized prioritizing issues related to revenue, health, education, and rural development.
Focus on 5T Initiative: She stressed that government services should reach people with transparency and within a stipulated time frame, in line with the 5T initiative.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) and other senior district-level officials were present during the hearing. The new Collector’s swift action and her direct interaction with the public have been widely welcomed by the general public.
