Nabarangpur: Madhusudan Majhi has assumed his duties as the new Block Development Officer (BDO) of Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur district. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Collector in Gunupur. Upon joining as the new BDO, he was welcomed with a bouquet by the block office.
Ramkrushna Nayak, who was handling additional responsibilities as the BDO of Chandahandi, has now returned to his original block. Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur district is a large block comprising 23 panchayats.
BDO Mr. Majhi mentioned that priority will be given to ensuring the government’s schemes reach the tribal-majority areas effectively.
