Cuttack: To prevent question paper leaks during the matriculation exams, QR codes will be introduced on all question papers along with watermarks and serial numbers. Additionally, AI-powered live streaming will be implemented to monitor the exams effectively. These measures are being taken by the Board of Secondary Education to ensure smooth and secure conduct of the upcoming matric exams.

According to officials, 3,314 nodal centers and 133 exam hubs have been designated for managing the exams. The question papers will reach all nodal centers between February 12 and 19. Like previous years, the question papers will be delivered to exam centers between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

Key Measures:

QR Codes and Watermarks: Every question paper will feature a QR code and watermark to trace its origin.

Exam Timings: The exams will start at 9 AM, and students are required to report to the exam centers by 8:30 AM.

4-Tier Security System: A robust, four-layer security system will be in place to prevent cheating.

Dynamic Codes: Each question paper will have dynamic codes and watermarks. If any paper goes viral, the origin—including the specific center—can be identified immediately, said Board Vice-President Nihar Mohanty.

These steps aim to eliminate all forms of malpractice and ensure fair conduct of the matriculation examinations.
