Tentulikunti, A student from the Khatiguda area of Navarangpur district, who was studying in Jammu, reached home on Sunday. Staying in Jammu during the war situation was filled with fear and tension. After the first day’s press briefing on Operation Sindhur, her confidence in the Indian defense system increased. She said she is hopeful of returning home safely.
Chandana was pursuing an integrated MSc in the Department of Zoology. After the Pulwama terrorist attack, the Indian forces conducted airstrikes on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan during Operation Sindhur. This escalated into a war-like situation between India and Pakistan. On the 9th, seven students from Odisha left Jammu by train and reached Delhi on the 10th. Since there were no trains available to return to Odisha, they took a flight to Bhubaneswar. From there, Chandana reached her home in Navarangpur.
Chandana is the daughter of Jnanendra Mishra, a health worker at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in Khatiguda, Navarangpur district, and is studying at a Central University in Jammu.
