Umarkote, Nabarangpur District: A welcome and felicitation ceremony was organized at the BJP office in Umarkote for the newly elected district leadership. The event began with a procession from DNK, where party members marched to the party office. During the event, the former district president was formally bid farewell.
Chief Guest: Minister of Mass Education Nityananda Gond attended as the chief guest, along with dignitaries such as Nabarangpur MLA Gauri Shankar Majhi, Jharigaon MLA Narsingha Bhatra, former MP Parshuram Majhi, BJP State Secretary Ramesh Chandra Sahu, and Nuapada District In-Charge Govinda Jain.
Prominent attendees included the newly elected BJP District President Kunjabihari Das, former District President Jagadish Bishoi, former NAC Chairman P. Rabana Rao, District General Secretary Achyuta Bishoi, District Mahila Morcha President Sharmistha Deo, MP representative Basanti Majhi, Ram Nayak, Suresh Acharya, and several other leaders seated on the dais.

Party leaders emphasized continuous efforts to ensure BJP’s strong performance in the upcoming panchayat elections and to secure more control in the urban elections. The new district president Kunjabihari Das stated that the party aims to expand its influence across all four legislative assembly constituencies in the district in the coming days.
