National Journalists’ Day Celebrated by Bharat Media Association in Kotpad

Kotpad , 19th Nov 2025:  On the occasion of National Journalists’ Day, heartfelt greetings and best wishes were extended to all working journalists. Today, the Bharat Media Association, Kotpad unit, organised a celebration to mark the occasion.

The chief guest at today’s programme was Kotpad MLA and Association Advisor Rupu Bhatra. M. Shankar Rao, NAC Chairman, attended as the special dignitary, while Rameshwar Jena, MP representative, Parshu Ram Bhatra, Additional Tahsildar, Tapan Panigrahi, Block Vice-Chairman, Salma Begum, Ward Member of Ward 8, Mohammad Sayed Yusuf, Ward Member of Ward 10, former Army personnel Gourang Nayak, and social worker and Bhatra Samaj President Bhimasen Majhi were also present.

The programme was presided over by the Association President Ajay Kumar Mishra.

On this occasion, Association Advisor and Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra congratulated all working journalists of Bharat Media Association on National Journalists’ Day. He praised their commitment to neutral and unbiased reporting, encouraged them to continue their dedicated work, and assured full support to the Association. He expressed confidence that the Association would continue to progress further.

Chairman M. Shankar Rao and all other dignitaries present also appreciated the achievements of the Bharat Media Association and urged all journalists to uphold impartial reporting.

The event commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp before the image of Lord Jagannath. All guests were welcomed with traditional honors and felicitations.
At the conclusion of the programme, the Association’s President, Vice-President, and members offered their thanks to the attending guests and formally closed the session.
