Kotpad: A shadow of mourning has fallen over India as news of the tragic incident in Jammu and Kashmir spreads. Terrorists attacked innocent tourists with gunfire, and nearly 27 tourists lost their lives, while over 10 others were injured. This incident has cast a dark cloud over Kashmir and the entire country. In light of this, a condolence meeting was held at the Kotpad Regional Council. A two-minute silent prayer was observed in memory of the victims, and a candlelight rally was organized to honor those who lost their lives. The rally called for peace and justice against terrorism.
During the event, the president of Kotpad N.A.C., M. Shankar Rao, vice-president M. Santoshi, all ward members, and the staff of N.A.C. were present. The gathering prayed to God for the eternal peace and strength for the families of the deceased.
