Nandapur, Jan 30: On the occasion of the district-level Republic Day celebrations in Koraput, the district administration felicitated officials who demonstrated excellence in their respective departmental duties.
Nandapur Tehsildar Debabrata Maharana was honoured for the efficient management of revenue department work. Similarly, the Anganwadi worker of Lujing under Hinkimput Panchayat of Nandapur block was awarded for effective implementation of nutrition programmes. The awards were presented by Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo.
Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan and Superintendent of Police Rohit Verma were present on the occasion.
Among others, Jeypore BDO Shakti Mahapatra was awarded as the Best BDO; Koraput NAC Executive Officer Gyanajit Tripathy as the Best Municipal Executive Officer; Dasmantpur Community Health Centre Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Deepak Kumar Samal as the Best CHC Officer; and Koraput NAC sanitation worker Karshik Suna as the Best Sanitation Worker of the district. Several police personnel were also felicitated during the event.
