Damanjodi, 13th Sept 2025: Three first-year science students from Nalco Saraswati Vidya Mandir—Sakshantapana Behera (Science Project), K. Harika (Science Experiment), and Jaish Mary Chetti (Science Seminar)—participated in the State-Level Science Fair held on the 6th and 7th of this month at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Gatirautpatna, Cuttack, under the Youth Category, bringing pride to their institution.
Under the guidance of Kalyani Das, the three students took part in the science fair organized by the Odisha Shiksha Vikash Samiti at Keshavdham. Alongside, Naresh Chandra Sahu, Sonali Pati, Smruti Padha, Mamata Sahu, and Sunil Kumar Mishra also played a supportive role in mentoring and preparing the participants.
Among them, Sakshantapana Behera’s science project titled “Future Fuel” secured the first position at the state level in the Youth Category. This achievement qualifies her for participation in the Regional Science Fair scheduled to be held on October 7th and 8th at Lathur Lakshma Toshi Bala Sharada Vidya Mandir, Kasim Bazar, West Bengal.
Similarly, K. Harika secured the second position in the science experiment category, also bringing glory to the school.
In recognition of their success, the Principal of Vidyamandir, Dr. Shubhrang Shekhar Bahinipati, Secretary Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra, and the President of the Managing Committee along with all its members have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students.
