Nabarangpur, Jan, 01: Considering the severe cold, the Nabarangpur Lions Club, as it does every year, distributed winter clothing, garments, and tasty food items to the inmates residing at the Tentulikhunti Old Age Home this year as well.
The distribution was carried out in the presence of the Club President and social worker Shri Jagannath Mahapatra and Secretary Lion Bhuvaneshwar Surang. All the inmates of the old age home received the items.
Those present at the program included club members Engineer Lion Dillip Das (PDG), Lion Srikanta Mahanti, Vice President P. Sekhar, Dinesh Jain, Ravi Rengi, Pindu Panda, along with all other club members and the entire staff of the local old age home.
While attending the program, President Shri Jagannath Mahapatra expressed his happiness that, through this noble initiative of the Lions Club, they were able to bring smiles to the faces of the inmates, even if only for a short time. He further stated that, keeping in mind the intense cold this year, the club will continue similar programs of distributing winter clothing and food at other institutions in the town in the coming days as well.
