Nabarangpur, 6th Aug 2025: The Nabarangpur District Journalists’ Association (NDJA) extended a courtesy visit and warm felicitation to the newly appointed District Collector, Dr. Maheswar Swain. Led by NDJA President and senior Sakal daily correspondent Gouranga Patra, members of the association presented the Collector with a photograph of Lord Jagannath’s golden attire and a religious book.
During the meeting, the journalists highlighted various professional issues faced by media personnel in the district. The association also urged the administration to identify and take action against fake journalists operating at the district and block levels.
Key office bearers present included Vice President Swadhin Kumar Panda, General Secretary A. Satish, Editors Sridhar Patra and Sukanta Kumar Rath, and Treasurer Madhu Sudan Sahu.
