Nabarangpur: Dec, 08: A one-day Junior Red Cross Counselor Training Camp was organized at Government Indira Priyadarshini High School, Kukudabai, jointly by the Nabarangpur District Junior Red Cross Unit and the State Junior Red Cross Branch.
The chief guest for the program was Additional District Education Officer Prakash Chandra Mahalik, while Prabhasini Mahanti and District Junior Red Cross Editor Prabhat Pattnaik were honored guests. Other attendees included Headmaster Biranchi Narayan Pal and Junior Red Cross Officers such as Prakashini Choudhury, and co-editors Nalini Kanth Patra and Mithun Pradhan, who actively participated in the event.
During the program, Additional District Education Officer Prakash Mahalik provided guidance on humanitarian service, the core values of the Red Cross, and the process of being trained in the Red Cross. Trainer Nalini Kanth Patra gave a detailed discussion on the history of the Red Cross, while guest Prabhasini Mahanti spoke on climate change awareness, and Prakashini Choudhury conducted primary medical training for the participants.
Participants included all JRC Council members from Nabarangpur, Nandahandi, and Tentulikhunti blocks. The program was conducted under the guidance of Prakashini Choudhury, JRC Officer, with coordination support from Pritam Bishwal, Samaya Kumar Mallik, and Bhuvan Harijan from the three blocks.
