Nabarangpur : As part of a 15-day awareness campaign to eliminate child labour from all forms of occupation and work, a child labour eradication awareness rally was held today in Nabarangpur. The rally was flagged off by Additional District Magistrate (Revenue), Bishwajit Nanda Barman.
The rally began from Ambedkar Square in Nabarangpur and proceeded to Chaunriyaguda Square. Through slogans, posters, and awareness leaflets, the rally aimed to educate the general public, shopkeepers, and business establishment owners not to employ children below 15 years of age in any work or profession, and to refrain from engaging adolescents aged 15 to 18 years in hazardous occupations.

A large number of participants, including trade union members, joined the rally in support of the campaign to raise awareness and eradicate child labour.
