Nabarangpur, Jan 30: Committee organized a function in which its President and noted social worker of the district, Jagannath Mohapatra, hoisted the National Flag. Tapan Kumar Bisoyi conducted the proceedings.
Among the distinguished guests who attended and delivered speeches were Jagadish Chandra Tripathy, Narayan Panda, Bijay Choudhury, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mishra, Niranjan Mishra, Ganesh Das, Satyabadi Sadangi, advocate Rabindra Prasad Padhy, Prabhasini Mahanti, Jharana Pattnaik, advocate Prafulla Singh, and Umakanta Behera. Assistant Convenor Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Joint Secretary Kishore Pattnaik, Treasurer Srinivas Patra, and members Barun Nayak, Subrata Behera, Jagannath Baghe, Sarat Das, and Gobinda Hadap were also present.
Meanwhile, at the district’s Special Education and Vocational Training Centre “Asha Kiran,” Additional District Magistrate Tapan Kumar Khuntia attended as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present included District Social Security Officer Sudhanshu Patra, Block Social Security Officer Dhanurjaya Rao, Sub-Divisional Social Security Officer Mrs. Ilya Beth, District Programme Officer (Emergency) Himanshu Pattnaik, and senior revenue official and State Employees’ Association President Tripati Balaji Sahu, along with several parents.
Later, the district branch of the State Drivers’ Association distributed bananas, sweets, and notebooks to the children. Staff members of Asha Kiran—Indramani Mangaraj, Sandhyarani Behera, Shanti Panda, Rashmita Pradhan, Parbati Jani, Ishwar Banjara, and Rashmita Dhanful—extended their cooperation in organizing the event.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Asha Kiran President Jagannath Behera.
