Nabarangpur: As per the directive of the state government, a decision has been made to observe “Odia Fortnight” from April 1 to 14. In this context, a meeting was held at the Ashoka Mehta Auditorium of the District Collector’s Office under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Shubhankar Mahapatra, where April 3 was celebrated as Traditional Attire Day. The District Collector, Dr. Mahapatra, urged everyone to wear traditional attire until April 14.
Additionally, a traditional food competition was scheduled to be held at the district office on Sunday, April 13. After the meeting, all officers and employees of the district office participated in a group photo session.
Among the attendees at this event were Additional District Collector Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Additional District Collector (Revenue) Biswajit Chandra Barman, Chief District Development Officer and Executive Officer of the District Council, Nabarangpur, Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Additional Chief District Development Officer and Executive Officer of the District Council, Nabarangpur, Jadumani Nayak, Project Administrator of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Rajiv Kumar Sahu, District Social Security Officer Sudhanshu Shekhar Patra, District Social Welfare Officer Smt. Draupadi Kanhara, District Information & Public Relations Officer Manoj Kumar Behera, District Supply Officer Ajay Kumar Mallik, Deputy Collector Smt. Meera Nayak, Chainu Gand, Assistant District Collector Ashutosh Patra, Ashwini Majhi, Hemant Soura, Binayak Khadanga, Shiva Shankar Padhi, District Project Officer (Emergency Section) Himanshu Shekhar Patnaik, along with all district office employees.
