Nabarangpur:22nd July 2025: Today, World Youth Skills Day 2025 was celebrated on the premises of The ETI College in Nabarangpur. The event was organized by the District Skill Development and Employment Department. Around 500 NCC cadets from various high schools and colleges across the district gathered at the training camp held as part of the celebration.
District Collector Dr. Subhankar Mahapatra attended as the chief guest. Among other dignitaries on the dais were:

District Skill Development and Employment Officer Anand Dalei provided detailed information on the purpose of the celebration.
The day emphasized that today’s youth should focus on developing their skills in their respective fields through:
Quality training
Effective use of digital and vocational knowledge
Improving working styles
Embracing artificial intelligence and technological innovations
Special attention was given to adopting future-ready skills.
District Collector Dr. Mahapatra shared valuable insights and guidance with the NCC cadets, encouraging them to work hard, stay committed to skill development, and apply modern technology and practical techniques in their careers.
To encourage participation and creativity, painting and quiz competitions were held among the NCC cadets, and the winners were awarded by the chief guest.
The program was smoothly anchored and conducted by NCC cadets Priyanka Panigrahi, Udipta Nayak, and Ankita Das. The entire event concluded successfully with the active support of the 13(O) BN NCC Battalion staff.
