Nabarangpur Due to the increasing spread of diarrhoea in the state, the Nabarangpur district administration has become alert and proactive. As the disease continues to spread from one district to another, the death toll is rising day by day.
Keeping this in mind, the district administration of Nabarangpur has started taking preventive measures. Acting on the instructions of the district administration, the Food Safety Department today conducted raids on various hotels and dry food shops in Umarkote, one of the main commercial hubs of Nabarangpur district.
During the raids, the quality of food items being sold was inspected. The department also collected fines from some traders for violations.
In addition, the Food Safety Officer issued a warning to the vendors and instructed them to sell only safe and hygienic food while also raising awareness among the public.
